Stacie intro

JavaScript Programming is the glue that holds together the HTML 5 and the CSS 3. These two technologies have been designed with "hooks" for the JavaScript Framework to connect to and exchange data. JavaScript is a Simple, Easy, straight-forward Language. Although it's original purpose was much simpler than it has grown to be; it is HIGHLY supported with transpilers, frameworks, library plugins, and a HUGE amount of API's. These extra Languages and Frameworks get Transpiled (TypeScript) into good old fashioned JavaScript (vs. ES5).

I am taking it for personal enrichment. I am working towards a certificate in graphic design for a career change. I think learning about java script will be useful for adobe animate and other things for graphic design.

Stacie, I think it's great that you've already got an area you're interested in applying this to--graphic design. Are you only interested in design for games, or also graphics for websites? Or print?

I think they are kind of mix together: the graphics and more technical stuff. I got up this Sunday ... drab and dull weather; TOTAL overcast outside.

I fired up Photoshop and played with a bunch of photos from an event on Saturday and woke up; It was lazy creativity.

I've gotten away from the hard schedule coding and find that understanding the details help me see the big picture.

Just saying....
