Re: Opinions on Dreamweaver?

To be honest, ... I haven't used it since college (2013)...... Me Also! It's been awhile since I used Dreamweaver in a full web site; I got into using a Content Management System (wordpress is a content management system) for design and haven't looked back. But I miss it because it's so hands on; i...

Re: Course Question

I'm just curious as to how the grading and testing will work 1) Admittedly, the syllabus (attached at the bottom of this post) is a simple one; we have our text - we are at about Chapter Four. Re: Help Forum

Does anyone here understand relational selectors? I don't quite get how the relationships are formed; like, is the <a> tag always a child tag of <li> or is it based on design and the container organization? Re: Help Forum

Hay ... tags form groups: some stand alone... some have to have some inner tags to support what they are all about. <ol> is an ordered list tag it starts <ol> and it ends </ol> ... but it can't exist alone. It has to have AT LEAST one of these guys <li> <li> is a list item tag it starts <li> and it...

Re: Reason for Taking Class

That's an interesting project. As a suggestion I would start breaking up parts that you want on the client and parts you want on the server.

Re: Opinions on Dreamweaver?

Adobe Dreamweaver is totally cool. It's real easy and because it's an Adobe program it fits into all the other (more graphic) Adobe products. I use to use Dreamweaver many years ago and loved it; in fact, I have been meaning to TAKE the Dreamweaver course myself... so I might be in the class with yo...

Website to build SQL statements and run them

mikeg sent this to me: a site to model SQL commands.

Build SQL statements and run them -- similar to the MySQL Monitor.
