Having difficulty getting through the chapters with no copy paste functionality from the PDF and angry wife and kids that I'm spending too much trying to type out listings and not getting through the book in a timely fashion.

Any advice on getting the copy function from the PDF un-ghosted?

Hi DNugent,

Since it's copyrighted material, I cannot post the source code here for you but its available to download from the publisher. I registered the book at www.informit.com and was able to download the source code.

Thanks
Edwin

Many thanks you're good lad!
I downloaded the source... I would prefer to type in all the listings in but I'm really strapped for time... (I've typed most of them in for chap3 and 4 and some for 5).
It's great to get errors that's when I REALLY learn!

HI ... all of the programs and code listings are included in the Master directory (under Bin) provided on the first day.

Of course, you will have to install WAMP to get the web services going... and then inside the WWW directory is where you would copy the chapter directory and be able to get to the running example by going to "localhost".

In our next class we will go over this again -- how to run the programs on your home computer...

hope that helps...

James
